Grandparents giving up retirement to raise kids in response to opiate crisis "An increasing number of grandparents in Michigan and nationwide are sacrificing retirement to raise grandchildren abandoned as a result of the opioid crisis — often with little support to help them navigate schools and social services, according to a new report."As a Grandparent, I feel for these people. It is NOT caused because they raised their kids wrong or didn't have 3 meals a week with them--it is a complicated issue and addiction has a strong physical component--as a society is our responsibility to help these self-sacrificing people..where do you stand?
